rugby and shows

Someone mentioned, i said someone because i don't think that person wanna be mentioned on my blog, that Rugby is a very popular sports among guys (if they wanna attract girls). So i said "huh? i tot DragonBoating?"

At least i feel that the dragonboaters in my school feel very upper-ty about themselves, expect a handful which is normal people. ha!

Which is true la. when you have a muscled body of course you tend to flaunt it right?

The person said that "erm, i feel that Dragonboaters are very... cheena, you look at the kind of girls they attract, and they mostly speaking chinese, haahahha" and proceed to plant Syngonium.

Then he added "you look at Rugby, they are usually more... english kind one" and i feel that it is indeed true! I suppose its because those boys school, ACS (independent), Saints Andrew's, -insert boys school- usually play rugby. not dragonboating, usually people who does dragonboating are from poly.

Then he added unnecessarily "Then neighbourhood school boys play basketball right?"

I think its quite sterotyping, but then again, out of all the mentioned 3 sports, i cant play basketball, i cant dragonboat(i mean, i can, since it doesnt required any thinking, all you need is big arms) and im not interested in Rugby.

but i think its very true.

Yes i know the above chunk has no meaning expect to stereotype.

good news:

Aunties' favourite retard, Ah Wang is officially over. I think the second favourite is probably You Fu, followed closely is Mo Jing Jing (from Holland village, remember?), who is the epitome of the ideal wife for all useless Singapore man.

Lets hope Mediacorp stop showing us all these retards. alongside with sub-standard 4.30pm taiwan drama which sucks + HK serial drama wanna-be (complete with the limited singapore casts with cheesy storylines).

woah, i have alot of things to complain regarding shows!

i cant stand shows which has a constant shouting and yelling and screaming (aka taiwan variety shows), i cant stand shows with alot of ugly people, shows with cheesy storylines (eg, maggie and me) piss me off, i had enough of shows that are always family orientated (holland v, tong xing yuan), i also cant stand documentaries which focus on the selected people with sad lives in SG.

My justifications that i dont like shows that focus on the selected people with sad life in sg (eg, channel U's silent scream) because i dont see a need for them to bring our attention to these people because we, normal people have enough shits in our life as well. okay im too mean.

in a nutshell, i declare singapore available options of shows is...

also, i know mediacorp had broadcasted Heroes (season 1), which is good right? But whats the point of broadcasting season one when the whole season 2 is available on the net? some tech-savvy people even already downloaded season 2(and finished watching) even before channel 5's season 1, if you watch from channel 5 for season 1, and try to talk to your friend abt season 1, i bet they will give you a -____- face and ignore you and talk among themselves (regarding season 2) haha

I say, Mediacorp, try to follow up more quickly! i know it probably cost more to obtain license etc etc, but try okay?

if you want you can always take away Maggie and Me/police and thieve and have a Charmed/Buffy/Friends re-run. which is better, way better than watching (if anyone is) Fiona Xie and her exaggerating acting skills.

god i hate that show.
