bloody lock

Im staying at home alot recently so there's nothing interesting to blog about. I guess when i have nothing to blog about i can always whine and complain, which is what im good at.

Actually im a very nice boy deep inside and my nonchalent front is a facade to protect myself from being taken advantage *cue emo music*

Im a very private person, meaning i like to lock myself in my room and do my own stuffs without people (eg Alice) disturbing me. I hate it when people rudely open my room door without knocking, or knock and then just open. I hate it when people look through my stuffs and start asking me WHERE YOU GET THAT FROM etc etc

So about a year ago, the lock on my door was spoilt so my dad replaced it with another one. which looks like this:

Ignore the stains on the door, so filthy.

So basically, if i wanna lock my room, all i have to do is to turn the thingy on the right pic, (i don't know what is it called) and then the entire knob cannot move down hence effectively my door cannot be opened.

Then on the left side of the picture you can see that there is a bloody slot so if anyone wants to open my room door all the bugger has to do is to put in and freaking key and turn it back on.

Therefore, logically speaking, my room cannot lock.

So whenever alice wanna come in, all she has to do is to unlock lor. Happens every freaking time in the morning when im asleep. I fucking hate it.

I also hate it when she open my room door when im sleeping and the light from the living room shine directly on my face, YOU KNOW HOW IRRITATING IS THAT OR NOT. lagi worse, she open for no reason. "Just to see what am I doing"

grrrrr, grumpy man.

This problem has been around for, 1 year? and all along i bear with it. and finally a few days ago i decided i had enough of such shits and thus, i looked at the knob and think what can be done.

So.... heres what i did. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out anyway...

Muahhahaa, fugly to the max, but bo bian, desperate times call for desperate measure. I know it doesn't seem like a good idea because the masking tape can be removed, but if alice REALLY wanna remove she can always sit there patiently and remove layer by layer? like 19 layers in total. i used SOOOO much masking tape man

Afterall i can always retape what, its always easier to tape it back. afterall it took me about 5 mins only.

sighs. so teenage-gy la this problem.
